[Ingredients] For 2-3 servings
1100g beef ribs, 1 carrot, 2 onions, 1 lotus root, 200g green onion, 1 ginger
4 shiitake mushrooms, whole garlic 100g,

[seasoning]
2 cups soy sauce, 1 cup mirin, 1 cup starch syrup, 1/3 cup old milk, 1/4 cup sesame oil, 1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup cooking oil, 100g soybean paste, 10g dried red pepper, 5g pepper, 2 cups sugar

1. Remove the tough part of the ribs and cut the meat.

2. Soak the trimmed ribs in cold water to drain the blood.
3. Bring enough water to cover the ribs in a pot and bring to a boil.

4. Put some herbal medicines and 1 spoonful of soybean paste in a pot and boil water.

 

5. Slice the ginger and cut the green onion into large pieces and put it in boiling water.

 

6. Blanch the spare ribs in boiling water.
7. Strain the broth through a strainer and rinse the ribs in cold water.

 

8. Put the ribs in a pot and add 4 liters of water.
9. Boil for 45 minutes over high heat.

10. Wash Hwanggi Samgyetang ingredients with running water
11. Put herbal medicines in a pot.

12. Add 2 cups of dark soy sauce, 1 cup of cooking wine, 1 cup of sugar, and

1/2 cup of dried red pepper.

 

13. Add 1/3 cup of Noduyu (Chinese soy sauce). (pass if none)

 

14. Add 1 spoon of pepper, 1 spoon of soybean paste, and 5 spoons of cooking oil.

 

15. Add 3 tablespoons of sesame oil, 1 cup of starch syrup, and 2 tablespoons of honey and boil.

 

16. Slice ginger and add 100g of whole garlic.

 

17. Cut the lotus root thickly and the onion and shiitake mushrooms into large pieces.
18. Cut 2 green onions and 1 carrot into chunks.

 

19. Add lotus root, carrot, and shiitake mushroom and boil.
20. After boiling for about 30 minutes, add the rest of the vegetables and boil.

 

When the ribs are soft, turn off the heat and put them in a bowl to finish cooking.
